Do something hard.
Talk through it.

Hold a plank, do pushups, or any free workout while you talk to your phone camera about what's on your mind. Talking keeps your mind off the clock — and gives you a talk-therapy-style moment.

How it works

  1. Pick something hard

Plank, pushups, squats, sit-ups, wall sit, or any free workout. Baseline test or “I know my numbers,” then set a goal that bumps up a little each day.

  2. Talk while you go

Choose a prompt — Health, Life, Work, Therapy-style, your own, or “What's on your mind?” — or switch to Brain dump. Your big timer (and optional EMOM minute prompts) keeps you moving.

  3. Keep the streak, keep it yours

See your streak calendar, invite a coach/therapist/buddy to your private Circle, and save videos to your phone. Shared clips auto-delete after 48 hours. Add Through It to your home screen.

Why talking helps

When your body is busy, your mind stops watching the clock. Saying things out loud — even messy, unfinished thoughts — can make them clearer. You also get a little more comfortable on camera, at your own pace.

It's not a clinical tool and it's not a substitute for therapy. It's a simple habit: move, talk, breathe, repeat.

Your Circle

Invite one person you trust — a coach, therapist, trainer, or buddy. They can see who did theirs today. Your Circle stays private: only people you invite.

Privacy

  • Videos stay yours. Download them anytime.
  • Clips you share with your Circle auto-delete after 48 hours.
  • No account needed to try a session. Sign in when you want sync, Circle, and history across devices.

The mission

I'm Jonathan Hairgrove. I'm a dad to sons on the autism spectrum, and I used to be a foster dad — I still advocate for foster kids. Through It is free on purpose. If it ever raises money (optional donations, future supporter perks), that money goes toward a non-religious, nature-based wellness retreat nonprofit I'm founding in Spartanburg County, SC — starting with buying land, and prioritizing foster kids and families and young adults who've aged out of foster care.

Donate & updates

Donations coming soon. Leave your email if you want a note when supporter options open — no spam, and you can write support@throughit.app anytime.

We'll only use this to tell you about donations and Through It news.
